I've only had the opportunity to snap a shot of them once. And that was the first and last time I've seen one in person :( but I picked it up and held it after so it was pretty neat! They are awesome indeed.

I'm sure you'll get more chances! A bunch of my pictures are from the Smithsonian's butterfly pavilion. It rocked because even if one flew away, there'd be another right next to it. And they loved my hair for some reason. :giggle:

I'll have to take a trip out to the butterfly conservatory around here and try to get some shots. It's a pain cause the closest one is like...1.5hrs away I think.
